What We Do

Our mission – To provide a high quality, long life mold that meets the artists’ and foundries needs, capturing fine detail in even the largest pieces.

Spray Solutions makes molds for mid size, life size and monumental pieces. We use Polytek, Polygel Spray 35 Urethane for the rubber. It is a very durable, tough, flexible,  urethane rubber with a long library life (meaning the finished mold will last very well for many, many years and will not revert back to liquid or turn to goo). The mother mold is made with a dense rigid urethane foam or lightweight FGR 95 and fiberglass. The mold cuts and panel sizes are determined by the artist and foundry. New equipment is used for spraying with proper mixing ratios to ensure a quality finished product. Precautions are taken to make sure that proper releases are used if the artist wants to retain the original piece. Molds have been made on water base clay, plasteline (oil base clay), paper casting, and bronze.

We make the molds in our shop in Loveland, Colorado or travel to the artists’ studio. We have an industrial unit that is 30’ x 70’. There is a studio apartment set up in the front ¼ of the building for artists to rent. The warehouse area is available for artists to rent as well to work on large projects. There is good lighting, overhead garage door, air compressor and other amenities.
